RENO, NEVADA, UNITED STATES, September 25, 2017 /EINPresswire.com/ -- (Santa Maria, Calif.) – Santa Barbara Vintners Celebration of Harvest Weekend, four days of wine and culinary experiences Friday, September 29th - Monday, October 2nd, during the height of the annual wine grape harvest.

For the first time, we’re bringing the weekend to the City of Santa Barbara with the kick- off event, Taste of Santa Barbara Wine Country on Friday, September 29th from 6:00 - 9:30 p.m. at The Fess Parker Doubletree Resort’s beautiful, outside ocean-front pavilion. Enjoy special fall wine releases and library wines; small bites from some of Santa Barbara's most exciting restaurants; a silent auction benefitting the Santa Barbara Vintners Foundation; and, free parking in the ticket price of $95 per person.

Visit up to twelve tasting rooms with an all-inclusive wine tasting pass. The Harvest Experience Passport is $50 per person for complimentary wine and, for the first-time, exclusive to ticketholders only, culinary offerings and other hospitality experience offerings by participating tasting rooms from Friday - Sunday. Typically, 25 - 40 wineries and tasting rooms participate.

Winemakers have joined together for the first time to offer Collaborative Winemaker Dinners (more than one winemaker at a themed dinner) at $135 per person. Throughout the weekend many wineries host their own events, including winemaker dinners, open houses and vineyard hikes. Individual winery events require reservations directly with the host winery.
