Interesting demographic projections from Stats NZ. The changes projected from 2013 to 2038 are:

New Zealand

European from 75% to 66%
Maori from 16% to 18%
Asian from 12% to 22%
Pasifika from 8% to 10%
Total Pop from 4.4 million to 5.8 million

Auckland

European from 59% to 48%
Maori from 11% to 12%
Asian from 23% to 38%
Pasifika from 15% to 17%
Total Pop from 1.5 million to 2.2 million

Wellington

European from 78% to 72%
Maori from 14% to 17%
Asian from 11% to 20%
Pasifika from 8% to 10%
Total Pop from 487,000 to 566,000
